why we put kava kava in our cbd tinctures
When we create products here at Pachamama, we’re always looking to add ingredients that will provide additional benefits along with CBD. So when we created a CBD tincture with Valerian root, we thought an excellent complementary supplement to add would be Kava Kava.
Kava Kava is a crop primarily grown on the Pacific Islands that’s known for its calming effects. While the root of Kava Kava can be eaten, it is often ground up and added to beverages such as tea to consume. Both Kava Kava and Valerian root are known for their tranquil properties and have been consumed by humans for thousands of years. So it made perfect sense for us to combine these two ingredients into one CBD tincture.
Interestingly enough, Kava Kava has also been shown in scientific studies to bind to CB1 receptors in the body. These receptors are part of the endocannabinoid system to promote health and wellness in the human body, and CBD also works with these receptors to perform more efficiently, so adding Kava Kava to our tinctures also means we’re adding another supplement to support the endocannabinoid system.
“Kava Kava has been used for thousands of years for its euphoric effect,” explains Anthony Valentine, our Chief Operating Officer. “After extensive research in our R&D department, we felt that combining Kava Kava with Valerian and our full spectrum hemp extract would fill a large demand for those seeking better sleep and calmness.”
Who would benefit from our Kava Kava CBD tinctures? As mentioned above, the crop is known for its calming and sedative effects and can be an excellent resource for people dealing with sleep-related issues.
“People that have trouble with their sleep patterns would most be interested in our Kava Kava tinctures,” says Valentine.
“It helps give their body and mind a chance to slow down and recover from the fast pace environment that we all live in.”
Valentine added that our community says they’ve never experienced the effects of our Kava Kava tinctures with any other products, which is why our Kava Kava tinctures are unique and unlike anything else on the market today.
Our Kava Kava Valerian tincture can be consumed either under the tongue for quicker absorption by the body, or safely added to food and beverages. We suggest taking one serving of the tincture, up to two times a day. If you’re someone struggling with sleep, or just someone interested in trying a unique product on the CBD market, we’d highly suggest you check out this unique product.
